About Palm Beach Reiki
Like most, you’re probably wondering why Palm Beach Reiki is in the NY, NJ, PA tri-state area and not in Palm Beach Florida.
Sam Redha had first started working at the Omphoy Ocean Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Florida in 2010. Ironically enough, the Omphoy was named from the interior designer using the mantra “om”, long associated with the deep-breathing practice of meditation and symbolizing “the vibration of everything in life” with the Gaelic word “phoy”, meaning feast. So, the Omphoy translates well as a spiritual gift or feast, according to Deborah Carr, former general manager at the Omphoy Ocean Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Florida.
Sam Redha held several positions while at the Omphoy, which later changed its name to Tideline Resort & Spa. His most memorable position was Reiki Therapist. He later met Kimberly DeOrsey, Spa Manager, who loved his work as a reiki healer and wanted him to join her team of holistic healers at the spa. While working as a reiki therapist, Sam Redha helped many clients with their emotional and physical issues. He helped to change their lives for the better. One client even called him a miracle maker. There was one client that was very emotional about Sam Redha’s special abilities, Jeff.
Jeff was a businessman and had heard about Sam Redha while visiting the resort in 2014. He wanted to meet Sam. During their initial meeting, Jeff liked Sam’s energy and wanted to ensure that he could help Sam to help more people with his unique healing abilities. Jeff had suggested that Sam start a website to offer his reiki healing therapy. Jeff was just stopping in on this particular trip and would soon be off on a plane to California. He was thinking of a name for Sam’s website…it didn’t take him long to figure out a name. Jeff asked Sam, “how about Palm Beach Reiki”? In that moment, Sam was thrilled and said “yes”! The next step was to check the availability of the domain name and both Jeff and Sam saw that it was available! Out of the kindness of Jeff’s heart and without any hesitation, he purchased the Palm Beach Reiki domain name.
Next, was the challenge of who will design the website and write the content. Lo and behold Jeff had offered to give Sam a complete website once he returned back from his trip to California. After a couple weeks, Jeff and Sam met and Jeff designed and wrote the Palm Beach Reiki website in one day, a gift of appreciation. Sam has been grateful since as it was the starting point of Palm Beach Reiki. Jeff never asked Sam for a dime, he just wanted to help Sam launch his business. Later on, Jeff told Sam that he remembered feeling something that was telling him to help Sam.
Once Sam Redha moved to Pennsylvania in 2016, he decided to keep the Palm Beach Reiki name because it was chosen for him, even if the physical location is no longer in Palm Beach Florida, and bring the experience to the NY, NJ, PA tri-state area. Palm Beach Reiki will always live in Sam Redha’s heart because it was and still is the foundation of all that he has to offer his clients no matter where they reside.
